Theology

The Theology department seeks to foster an encounter with God through the teachings and practices of the Catholic faith so that students will be empowered to build God's Kingdom in emulation of Jesus Christ and inspired by the Holy Spirit. Honoring the diversity of our student body, the department aims to develop a mature understanding of faith by encouraging students to grapple with their individual beliefs and morals in order to equip them to face the relevant questions and challenges of their lives. Theology courses are developed within the framework of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Doctrinal Elements of a Curriculum Framework for the Development of Catechetical Materials for Young People of High School Age.
